We sat down with one of our guides, K. Yok, and asked her a few questions to find out a little bit more about her!
Where are you from originally?
Bangkok- one of the most vibrant cities in Asia!
How long have you been a guide?
It’s around 1 month (smile).
What do you like most about your job?
To represent my own culture and able to share it with people from various cultures and leaving them an impressive memory of my country.
What is your favorite Thai food?
Pad Krapow Moo Sab (Pork and Holy Basic Stir Fry). So delicious!
What is your favorite place in Bangkok?
Chatuchak market. It’s simple amazing and always full of tourists. Many things to see and buy there.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Spending time alone either sleeping or watching films or go out dancing.
Three things you couldn’t live without?
Money, Phone and Car! These all 3 things are most essential and I believe without the first two of them no one can live!
If you could travel anywhere in the world to try the food, where would you go? Why?
Korea because I love Korean food so much. I love kimchi and even I make my own kimchi! Nowadsays I am learning Korean language! It’s super fun!
