Video Diary: Temples & Tradition Along the Chao Phraya

Take a walk through the old town of Bangkok, also known as Rattanakosin, and you will truly get a shot of local Thai life.  Here there are quiet streets for walking, with hidden temples and local, generations-old restaurants and street food stalls on display for all to see and taste.

Another perk of this area of Bangkok, is that it is home to the majestic temples along the Chao Phraya River.  No visit to Bangkok, especially for first-timers, is complete without experiencing the beauty and serenity of the likes of Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Po and Wat Arun.

Recently, we spent a bit of time wandering the streets while preparing our newest tours, Best Picks in Old Town Bangkok and the Tastes & Temples Along the Chao Phraya.  The outcome?  A lovely little video showcasing the dawn to dusk peacefulness and local culture of our Bangkok.

We invite you to join us for any of our cultural & food tours to show you that local Bangkok we love so much!
